Composition:
Each millilitre of solution contains foscarnet sodium 24 mg, hydrochloric acid, and water for injection.
Indications:
FISCAVIR is indicated for the induction and maintenance treatment of cytomegalovirus retinitis in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS); for the treatment of cytomegalovirus infection in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract associated with AIDS; and for the treatment of mucocutaneous infections produced by the simple herpes virus in immunodepressed patients who have not responded to the acyclovir therapy.
Therapeutic action:
Antiviral.

Keep at temperature between 15º and 30º C in the marketed packing.
