Composition:

Each capsule contains hydroxyurea 500 mg, dibasic sodium phosphate, magnesium estearate, lactose monohydrate and citric acid.

Indications:

HYDROXYUREA DOSA is indicated for the treatment of carcinoma of the head and neck; ovarian carcinoma; cervical carcinoma; primary squamous cell (epidermoid) carcinomas of the head and neck, excluding lips; recurrent metastatic carcinoma of the ovary; advanced prostate carcinoma; resistant chronic myelocytic leukaemia; malignant melanoma; and polycithaemia vera.

Therapeutic action:

Antineoplastic.

Storage:

Keep at temperature between 15º and 30º C, in the marketed packing.

Marketed presentations:

Packs containing 30, 50, 100 and 500 capsules.

Packs containing 1000 capsules, for use in hospitals.
