Composition:
METFORMINA 500 AP DOSA:
Each extended-release film-coated tablet contains metformin 500 mg (as metformin hydrochloride), anhydrous lactose, Ac Di Sol, povidone, magnesium stearate, Opadry, titanium dioxide, micronised talc, and yellow ferric oxide.
METFORMINA 850 AP DOSA:
Each extended-release film-coated tablet contains metformin 850 mg (as metformin hydrochloride), anhydrous lactose, Ac Di Sol, povidone, magnesium stearate, Opadry, titanium dioxide, micronised talc, and blue aluminium lake.
METFORMINA 500 DOSA:
Each film-coated tablet contains metformin 500 mg (as metformin hydrochloride), anhydrous lactose, Ac Di Sol, povidone, magnesium stearate, Opadry, titanium dioxide, and micronised talc.
METFORMINA 850 DOSA:
Each film-coated tablet contains metformin 850 mg (as metformin hydrochloride), anhydrous lactose, Ac Di Sol, povidone, magnesium stearate, Opadry, titanium dioxide, micronised talc, and yellow lake.
METFORMINA 1000 DOSA:
Each film-coated tablet contains metformin 1000 mg (as metformin hydrochloride), anhydrous lactose, Ac Di Sol, povidone, magnesium stearate, Opadry, titanium dioxide, micronised talc, and quinoline yellow.
Indications:
METFORMINA AP DOSA and MERTFORMINA DOSA are indicated for the treatment of the non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus in patients whose hyperglucemia cannot be controlled only with diet, exercises, or weight reduction, or when the insulin therapy is not required or non practicable. They are used in single therapy or in combination with sulphonylurea in patients with diabetes type II; also, as an adjunct in insulin therapy in patients with diabetes type I (DMID): unstable diabetes, insulin resistant diabetes.
Therapeutic action:
Hypoglucemiant.

Keep at temperature between 15º and 30º C in the marketed packing.
